5-axis machining enables the most complex parts to be machined in a more agile way, eliminating work phases and potential positioning errors.
In 5-axis machining centres, the cutter can be moved along the X, Y and Z axes; rotating along the A and B axes. That way, any area of the piece is accessible in a single phase.
