As we discussed in the previous blog post, we started the year with the commissioning of a new 5-axis machine. It is a HAAS model UMC 750, which has already been installed in our facilities.
This vertical machining center of 5 continuous axes with pendulum table, is equipped with a spindle at 12,000 rpm with 30 hp and internal cooling of 21 bars. It has a 40+1 position side-mount tool changer. The tilting rotary table has dimensions of 630 x 500 mm and its machining travel is 765 x 510 x 510 mm
With this new addition, we will have 3 5-axis machines in our facilities, with which we will be able to offer an even more agile service to our customers. Our goal for this year 2015 that has just begun is to continue growing, internationalizing and continue to offer the highest quality in all our products.
For this reason, we will continue to bet on the quality and precision that has always characterized us. Sectors such as medical or aeronautics, for which we work hard, have very strict requirements and complex machining geometries, requirements that we will continue to meet with this new acquisition, improving day by day.
