Students from the Mare de Déu de la Mercè Institute in Barcelona have visited the Facilities of Total Planning with the aim of knowing first-hand how the internal functioning of the company is in its day to day, a great initiative for the technical training of these future mechanics. The students have received a lecture on mechanization techniques with CNC machines.
This is a visit that falls within the area of collaboration of Total Planning with different schools. The institute La Máre de Déu de la Mercè already went in 2015 to visit the facilities of the company and with this new visit the continuous learning of the students is promoted in order to favor their training and their immersion in the professional world. It is also a way for students to put into practice many of their knowledge and thus know the work, rhythm and routine of day to day in a machining workshop.
The students enjoyed a lecture on the work being done in the workshop. They were also able to solve all kinds of doubts and ask questions. Thanks to this collaboration, the company opens the doors of the world of work to these students. Some of them will be able to carry out a period of learning and internships in the company and in the future they will even have the possibility of becoming part of the Total Planning staff.
With this new visit, Total Planning contributes to the training and learning of many students thanks to a close collaboration with different schools. The Instituto Máre de Déu de la Mercè is one of the schools collaborating with the company of a list where there are also Los Salesianos, the Escola del Treball or the Pompeu Fabra Institute, among others.
